I’m not sure if they were inspired for choosing the title “Warriors in Pink” (WiP) for the latest Mustang special edition, but believe me it’s for a good cause.

I don’t know for sure if this is a bike or a car. This is why I would like to ask all our readers to submit their comments to see what the new Cirbin V13R is.

Word is that this Harley-powered vehicle (first hint probably?) will soon go live on the streets with a retro fiberglass body that hides the tubular steel chassis.

It has two seats one next to the other, adjustable pedals (so it’s a car?), tachometer, fuel gauge and a speedometer. Taking a closer look and considering the $40,000 price tag I would definitely say this is a carbike. Read more »

Mercedes is trying to win market on younger drivers with the new Mercedes-Benz CLC Coupe they’ve just released during the show in Geneva. Remember the CLC sketches we’ve shown last month and the CLC SportCoupe announced?

Just as expected it’s a very stylish modern vehicle that draws heavily from the CL-class coupe and the new C-class, with climate control and sport seats as standard.

It has a restyled front and rear end, uses the CLC 200 KOMPRESSOR engine that develops 184 hp which is a 20 hp increase and has a reduced combined fuel consumption down 0.7L to 7.8L/100km. Read more »

Spyker, a Dutch car manufacturer that started producing cars back in 1880, managed to surprise a few at the Auto Show in Geneva this week, unveiling their latest model, C8 Aileron inspired from the older model, C8 Spyder.

It uses Audi’s 4.2L V8 engine that has 400 little horses inside and for the first time is going to be offered with both a manual 6-speed Getrag gearbox and an automatic 6-speed ZF transmission, which they think will make it more appealing to a potential customer.

Spyker C8 Aileron was built with an aluminum space frame, includes some new vents and scoops, the wheelbase increased 10cm for better handling, torsional rigidity improved by 40% without adding weight, and the car has a virtually square design thanks to a widened front track. Read more »

Geneva has all kind of goodies this year. Here is Automotive Designer House Giugiaro that came up with the Quaranta hybrid concept that almost killed a few of us when they unveiled it.

The new Quaranta is using a Hybrid system that was developed by Toyota together with Honda and is actually based on Lexus’ RX400h Hybrid Crossover.

Giugiaro Quaranta is running on a 3.0L V6 engine that sports 286 bhp and 288 Nm of torque, is able to go 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds, uses Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system and a CVT transmission. Read more »
