If you blinked, you might have missed! Among cars and supercars classics at Goodwood festival of speed was the black jaguar seem discreet but rather medium-XF. But this is no ordinary XF - it ’s the hot new all-R, claiming a 500bhp supercharged V8 engine of 5.0 litres to compete with BMW ‘ s M5.

As it did with the back cut XKR in 2006, the company Coventry took the measure crowd-pleasing running a prototype version up the hill famous Goodwood, with the cross of Mike expert driver d ‘Test and chief engineer at the wheel - and our spies have caught the machine while she was prepared beyond for its fly.

As you can see, it ’s subtly different standard model with wider wheelarches staying wheels of 19 inches, lower side skirts, a lowered suspension and a front-pin amended, which slightly behind the outfit, has a larger domed hood and inlets deeper to cool the engine.

And what engine. Pompant outside 500bhp, the new V8 supercharged 5.0 litres per should skyrocket the XFR 0-60mph in under four seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph. A system of sophisticated traction control will maintain all this power in control, although the cross Mike driver test has been switched off on the track, taking into account a certain sinister tail slides.

The jaguar has no plan to indicate the XFR the British Motor Show, and buyers can expect to see the article by finishing at Paris Motor Show in October.

It’s full speed ahead for Jaguar, which seems determined not to miss a single beat even as it prepares to switch ownership from Ford to Tata.

As if an all-new XJ flagship sedan weren’t enough to keep the transitioning British automaker busy, rumors are now circulating that Jaguar is preparing a proper sportscar, more hardcore than the XK grand tourer.

On the same day it announced the updated version for the rest of the world, Jaguar has officially pulled the plug on the X-Type in the US.

Jaguar scraped together a few bucks to make several less-than-noteworthy changes to the XK, XKR and the X-type, and since they took the trouble of putting together press releases, we felt obligated to pass along the information to you.

The XK and its hotted-up big bro the XKR receive a revised rear spoiler, new 20-inch five spoke rollers, and an Alcon-developed braking setup that was only available on the Portfolio Special Edition. On the inside, owners that opted to wait a year will now get a choice of wood or aluminum inserts, piano black instrument and shifter surrounds, a bit more chrome, alloy pedals and an optional 525-watt Bowers & Wilkins audio arrangement.
